After sustaining injuries while serving in Iraq, Richard spent two years in the hospital, fighting a battle of a different kind. It was during those difficult times that he discovered the therapeutic power of gardening and landscaping.
Drawing inspiration from the natural world, Richard realized that tending to the Earth’s wonders brought him solace and purpose.
